Radius Gauge Sets are used to determine the radii of fingerboards, top profiles of nuts and saddles and the curvature of bridges. They can be used to periodically check your work while you shape and smooth a fingerboard or frets. They are designed to be used in combination with our Radius Sanding Blocks to create accurate curves and to make more challenging tasks, such as creating a compound radius on a fingerboard, easier.
Our Radius Gauge Sets are accurately laser cut from 2mm acrylic and are available as either smooth or notched. The notched set allows for checking a fingerboard radius with the strings still on.
