The dreadnought template is based on the historic dreadnought acoustic guitar of the classic Martin D-18’s and D-28’s that we popular in the 1930s and ‘40s. It includes the traditional X-bracing system location, standard bridge position, side strips position, centreline, sound hole and cutaway location.
